The Symphony seeks an experienced, creative, and motivated marketing professional to join the organization as Marketing & Digital Media Manager. The Marketing & Digital Media Manager will play an integral role within the Marketing Department as it achieves important earned revenue, programmatic and institutional marketing, and audience development goals in support of the orchestra’s artistic and educational programs, while also providing exemplary day-to-day management of marketing and communications operations. Someone who is passionate about organizational storytelling, loves creating compelling new ways to reach potential audiences, and has an affinity for classical music will find the work of this position to be immensely rewarding.

Celebrate those disco days and nights with a cast of New York’s top performers, singing and dancing to the decade’s super-hits.

With Guest Conductor Ernest Richardson at the podium, the evening will start and end with disco classics, with ’70s hits by Donna Summer, Abba, Bee Gees, Village People and more!

If you remember the days when Rocky was a box-office smash, Donna Summer was the queen of the air waves, and Beethoven had his first top-40 hit, this is the Pops experience for you!

Experience Beethoven’s first symphony showing a young genius already striking out on a new path with the celebrated “Eroica” symphony that created a whole new world of symphonic possibilities.

These performances will feature the orchestra in unique configurations reflecting how the symphonies in Beethoven’s time may have been played while utilizing the incredible new-fashioned  acoustics of the Green Music Center.

✨Despite Beethoven going deaf in his 20's, he was still able to compose and perform music. Francesco Lecce-Chong explores Beethoven's 5th Symphony from the famous four-note motif, Da Da Da Dum, to how he pushed boundaries that forever changed classical music at “Exploring Beethoven’s 5th with FLC” on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 3:00 pm, at Weill Hall, Green Music Center.

🎶 Inspired by Leonard Bernstein’s televised Young People’s Concerts (1958-1972), performed with the New York Philharmonic and featured on CBS. These concerts introduced an entire generation to the joys of classical music.

🎞️ Projected on a big screen above the orchestra, all concertgoers will see, up-close, the musicians and Francesco no matter where they sit.
