Copywriter & Creative Coordinator

Salary range: $45,000 - $50,000
Full time/Non Exempt

Your Role:
Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing and Patron Services, the Copywriter and Creative Coordinator supports the planning and strategies of marketing campaigns and is responsible for their execution. This includes, but is not limited to writing all marketing copy, email marketing management, and coordinating digital and print marketing projects with the graphic designer. Other primary duties include public relations, producing concert program books, event coordination, gathering and editing guest artist bios and photos, very limited concert weekend support, program book ad sales and various other support functions as assigned.

Your Proficiencies:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Theatre Manager (or ability to easily learn CRM)
  • Adobe Photoshop (ability to crop and resize of photos)
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Google Sheets
  • AP Style
  • MailChimp or equivalent

Your experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public relations, journalism or creative writing (or equivalent related education and experience)
  • Professional writer (marketing copy a plus)
  • Press releases
  • Project management
  • Email marketing
  • Clear communicator
  • CMS and CRM experience a plus
  • Nonprofit experience a plus
