Forty-eight talented musicians of the Symphony’s Youth Orchestra, led by conductor Richard Loheyde, took a life changing Musical Journey Through China, June 17 through June 25, 2015. The orchestra represented Northern California, they performed in renowned concert halls in Beijing, Hangzhou and Shanghai. When they were not onstage, the young musicians enjoyed plenty of sight-seeing and cultural exchange. Youth Orchestra received a proclamation from the City of Santa Rosa congratulating them on their tour of China. See the Proclamation here: City-Proclamation-for-YO-tour-to-China
