About the Concert
Be a part of history as the Santa Rosa Symphony begins the journey to its centennial celebration in the 2027-2028 season. All nine of Beethoven’s magnificent symphonies will be performed in a series of special concerts over the next five seasons. Beginning in June 2024, these performances will feature the orchestra in unique configurations reflecting how the symphonies, in Beethoven’s time, may have been played, while making use of the incredible modern-day acoustics of the Green Music Center.
In this first year, experience Beethoven’s first symphony showing a young genius already striking out on a new path with the celebrated “Eroica” symphony that created a whole new world of symphonic possibilities.
