With it now being four months since my last performance, I will admit that being on stage making music seems like a distant memory. However, I also am more optimistic than at any point during this pandemic about the strength of our community and this orchestra. With every conversation with a member of our orchestra, staff and board, I am more confident that we will find creative and safe ways to bring music back to you. As orchestras around the country begin to cancel their seasons until 2021 (San Francisco, New York, and Nashville to name just a few), our work remains more vital than ever. Even virtually, now is the time we need to rally together, support each other, comfort each other and encourage each other. Finding ways to make music again not only provides respite from loneliness and isolation, but also allows us to care for our musicians and staff, who have dedicated their time and talents to make the Santa Rosa Symphony what it is today. In the weeks to come, I look forward to sharing the plans we are putting in place to keep "live music" alive! In the meantime, please continue to connect with us on the Symphony's Stay Connected page or my FrancescoAtHome page. As you can see, our work of bringing you fun and meaningful musical experiences hasn't missed a beat since we last saw you in person!

Thank you so much for your continued support and enthusiasm! I wish you and your loved ones much health and happiness.
