Jesse Barrett
Oboe
Jesse Barrett grew up in Pleasant Hill, CA, and has performed on oboe and English horn with many of the Bay Area’s leading ensembles, including the San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Ballet, and the New Century Chamber Orchestra. He has been a member of the Santa Rosa Symphony for nearly a decade.
In addition to his vibrant freelance instrumental career, Mr. Barrett is an accomplished vocalist and host. He has appeared at iconic San Francisco venues such as Feinstein’s at the Nikko, Swedish American Hall, and St. Joseph’s Arts Society, and has performed with the Oakland Symphony, Carmel Bach Festival, and at the Monterey Jazz Festival.
Whether on stage as an oboist, singer, or emcee, Jesse is at home in a wide range of musical settings. He has collaborated with artists as diverse as Dave Brubeck, Andrea Bocelli, Chicago, The Who, Billy Ray Cyrus, Mannheim Steamroller, and Third Eye Blind.”
