Amelia Chun

Amelia Chun began playing the piano at the age of five and has been playing for eleven years. She has won multiple competitions, achieving first place for the MTAC Piano Performance Competitions in 2019, 2022, and 2023, and winning the Junior Bach Festival in 2020 and 2022. She also performed in a master class with renowned pianist Hans Boepple and in a trio for the Agave Sextet and Redwood Arts Council. In January 2025, she won SRSYO’s concerto competition and performed Moderato from Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto with the youth orchestra. Amelia currently studies piano with Robin Wachsberg, violin with Aaron Westman, and plays both instruments for the Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Orchestra.
