B Schaubhut
Bass
B Schaubhut earned a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM) in 2026 and is currently pursuing a Professional Studies Certificate in Opera Studies under the mentorship of Matthew Worth. Recent SFCM Opera credits include Pandolfe in Cendrillon and Melisso in Alcina. Other roles include Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro, Guglielmo in Così fan tutte, Maximillian in Candide, Betto in Gianni Schicchi, and Simeon in L’Enfant prodigue.
Schaubhut has appeared with the San Francisco Opera Chorus in the mainstage productions of Simon Boccanegra and Manon, performing as a gambler in Manon and covering additional bit roles. Their background in stage direction and choreography at Loyola University New Orleans, alongside their work as assistant director for SFCM’s undergraduate production of Die Zauberflöte, informs their innovative approach to classical performance. This vision culminated in their graduate recital, Siren, which combined costumes, immersive projections, and narrative storytelling.
