Summer Music Academy

NEW THIS YEAR! Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Orchestra Conductor Bobby Rogers joins the SMA staff to teach courses for serious, experienced musicians who want to advance their skills.
We are excited to announce new courses taught by Bobby Rogers, including Reading Orchestra, Wind Ensemble and Music Theory. These courses are for serious musicians who are already in the Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Orchestra or who are planning to audition in the fall. Students must be able to read Grade 3 level music.

Summer Music Academy
Summer Music Academy offers an exciting three weeks of music immersion. Students can learn to play an instrument for the first time or enrich their music studies, all while making new friends with musicians from throughout Sonoma County. They develop musicianship in fundamentals and rhythm classes and enjoy workshops and ensembles led by professional musicians, including members of the Santa Rosa Symphony.

If you have questions about Summer Music Academy, please contact program manager, Ryan Contreras.
