Bruno Returns! Beloved Maestro conducts Ravel, Glass & Debussy

Conductor Laureate Bruno Ferrandis, returns with a collection of works from his Countrymen. Opening the concert are two pieces from French composer Lili Boulanger, who was the first woman to win the Prix de Rome in 1913. Followed by Piano Concerto in G major composed by Maurice Ravel and performed by Van Cliburn Gold Medal winner Jon Nakamatsu. The concert continues with The Canyon
by American composer Philip Glass, which premiered in 1988 in The Netherlands. Concluding the performance is the orchestral composition, La mer [The Sea] by the French composer Claude Debussy written between 1903 and Performances are February 18, 19 & 20, 2023 at Weill Hall, Green Music Center.
