Benjamin Margulis
Violin
Benjamin Margulis was born in 2010 in Sebastopol, CA. He currently plays first violin in the Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Young People’s Chamber Orchestra, and has participated in masterclasses with world-class soloists, such as Geneva Lewis and David McCarroll. In 2025, he won second place in the SRSYO Concerto Competition and performed as a soloist with the Young People’s Chamber Orchestra.
Benjamin began learning the piano at the age of 4 and later took up the violin at the age of 9, initially studying with Cynthia Albers and now with Anna Washburn. He is currently a sophomore at Cardinal Newman High School, where he plays guitar in the modern band. Benjamin has ambitious plans, intending to pursue a career in music.
