Ethan Karres

Ethan Karres began playing classical guitar in 2015, at the age of six. However, his first formal lessons started in 2022. Since then, he has played in several master classes, including one with renowned guitarist David Russel, participated in a program offered by the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and performed various solos. While classical guitar remains his primary instrument, Ethan also plays the upright bass, which he took up in 2023. He now stands as the principal bass of the Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Orchestra and enjoys playing a variety of genres on both instruments. Aside from music, Ethan loves exercise and the outdoors, learning of any kind, and cooking.
