The Beethoven Blend

August 16, 2026

Surrounded by the rich history and rustic charm of Foppiano Vineyards’ barrel room, The Beethoven Blend closes Symphony Uncorked with an afternoon of bold expression and intimate artistry. Hosted by Santa Rosa Symphony Music Director Francesco Lecce-Chong and curated by Concertmaster candidate Ani Bukujian, the program weaves together the virtuosic flair of Eugène Ysaÿe, the folk-inspired warmth of Komitas and Perkinson, and the radiant grandeur of Beethoven’s String Quintet in C major. Symphony Uncorked

Experience the perfect blend of classical music and fine wine with Symphony Uncorked—a series of relaxed, intimate chamber music performances set among the beautiful landscapes of Sonoma County.

Hosted by Francesco Lecce-Chong, Symphony Uncorked brings you up close and personal with the musicians, offering an informal concert experience unlike any traditional symphony hall. This summer’s series also offers audiences the opportunity to welcome and discover the Santa Rosa Symphony’s three concertmaster candidates—Nigel Armstrong, Wyatt Underhill, and Ani Bukujian—each featured at one of the three concerts.

From classic masterpieces to delightful arrangements of popular music, the repertoire is diverse, engaging, and thoughtfully paired with the stunning vineyard surroundings. After the music, stay and mingle with Francesco, fellow guests, and performers while savoring a glass of wine and the warm summer air. Join us as we uncork a full-bodied celebration of music, wine, and summer splendor.

About Foppiano Vineyards

The story of Foppiano Vineyards is a family epic full of tradition, perseverance and contributions to the history of Sonoma County and the wine country. Founded in 1896 by Giovanni Foppiano, Foppiano Vineyards is one of Sonoma County’s oldest continually-operated, family-owned wineries. Our family has supplied Northern California with wine for over a century, surviving Prohibition in the 1920s by selling home winemaking kits. We believe that through the strength of the family and a commitment to quality, our traditions can be maintained and thrive. We’re proud to be one of the founding members of the Russian River Valley AVA, and continue to enjoy the fruits of our hardworking Italian heritage. To stay on the cutting edge of quality winemaking, we’ve made important investments in infrastructure and winery equipment throughout the years. The vision of the fifth generation of Foppianos, together with Giovanni’s foresight to purchase land in the Russian River Valley, guides our family into the future while creating a world class wine program representative of our history.

Foppiano Vineyards is located at 12707 Old Redwood Hwy Healdsburg CA. Please visit their website for more information about the winery.
